North Carolina Central University’s Master of Science (M.S.) in Higher Education Administration Program is designed for prospective higher education professionals who desire to attain strong theoretical skills and competencies necessary to excel in diverse higher education settings. This program aims to produce exceptional practitioners who exemplify best practices to foster 21st-century college environments in which all students can thrive and successfully matriculate in a timely manner.
The M.S. in Higher Education Administration is a 42-credit hour program that is offered 100% online. The program requires a 150-hour internship in a setting commensurate with the student's field of study.
The Program provides theoretical knowledge, challenging curriculum, hands-on training, and a solid foundation for successful careers or pursuit of a doctoral degree. The self-paced program allows individuals to complete coursework on their own schedule, 100% online in 42 credit hours (full-time or part-time) with a minimum of 22 months (full-time, including a summer semester) and maximum of 72 months (part-time, six years).
