Dr. Tiffany Wiggins (she/her) is an educator, mentor, coach and consultant with over a decade of professional experience as a higher education practitioner, professor, and scholar. A native of coastal Virginia, Dr. Wiggins earned her Ph.D. in Education Leadership (with an emphasis on Higher Education) from Old Dominion University. Her dissertation study, which examined the lived experiences and mentoring relationships of Black women student affairs administrators, unlocked her advocacy for transformational mentorship within the Black community as well as the complexities of Black women in the workplace. Dr. Wiggins is the founder and creator of Black Girl Mentor, an online community of practice that centers mentorship for, by, and amongst Black women and girls. Additionally, as an ICF-certified life and academic coach, Dr. Wiggins partners with individuals, groups, and organizations through her firm, Noire Coaching & Consulting, to guide clients toward clarity and progress on their personal, professional, and academic goals. Beyond her professional achievements, Tiffany is a proud mother of a pre-teen daughter, and is an enthusiast of travel, collecting denim jackets, trying new restaurants, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks. Dr. Wiggins looks forward to making new connections with NCCU students, colleagues, and community members.
